January went super well for Creative Deed 365! Keep making art everyday + giving it away as a gift of creative goodness = win, win for kicking off 2015!
After I make my Creative Deed for the day, I keep the art with me so I can “gift” it in a place that will hopefully inspire someone to claim it as their own and appreciate or be surprised by the spirit of the project.
During this cold and snowy weather, which can sometimes become exhausting & full of blah, leaving Creative Deeds in various public places has been nice to spark some extra fun & excitement. Since my last update, I’ve added car windshields, post offices, copy machines, and greeting card aisles to my list of Creative Deed drop offs.
Here are a few of my favorites from the rest of January:

Below is another January found Creative Deed that I received a kind note about- this one I pinned on a school bulletin board…. I’m happy it was found and appreciate the thank you e-mail from Mara to let me know:
I decided that since I am giving away all the 365 art I am creating for this project and won’t have a growing physical collection, that doing a short video each month would be a nice way to document everything.
Behold Days 1-31 & January’s offerings:

The Creative Deed 365 Group continues to be an inspiring, daily art gathering & doses of creative goodness that are being made, shared, and given away all over the world with artists & creatives who have joined me in this adventure! Check out this post from earlier in the week by Petrea Hansen Adamidis, an Art Therapist in Toronto who is also enjoying the project. It’s going to be great to see what the next 11 months bring for us, all the creative deeds out there, and their finders! 🙂
